Wandering Thoughts

When I am out walking, I my thoughts often drift to the mysteries of life. Today’s thought topic: Can my eyeballs freeze?
They must be able to freeze, but it is surprising they haven’t done so already. Are my glasses helping block cold or keep it locked in? Do my eyelids have super heating properties? If so, why do my eyes not steam when I blink? Would my eyeballs freeze before or after my nose fell off? Wish my butt would freeze off. If I sneeze really hard are my eyes more or less likely to blow out of the socket in the cold? Do they experience shrinkage? Could my frozen eyeballs be reconstituted if thawed properly? If people chop off their heads for cryogenics, will they be using the same eyeballs when science advances enough to bring them back? An eyeball crawling toward me would be super creepy and make an awesome horror movie. Attack of the killer eyeball! Not sure how it would murder but it would be gross. What is that goobery stuff in the corner of my eye? Why can’t my glasses stay on my nose properly? The Jerk was a funny movie. All I need is this chair…

Grammys

Watching some Grammy stuff since I skipped it for Walking Dead and Better Call Saul (both awesome!) Some thoughts no one really needs:

-So far nothing is better than Bob Mould on Letterman Friday night! ❤
-I did not expect Hozier to look like Neil Gaiman but now I get why The Current overplays him
-I did expect Sam Smith to look like Boy George
-Mary J Blige sings that Sam Smith song so much better
-Beyonce does have a beautiful voice even though I don’t intentionally listen to her music
-Annie Lennox is still awesome but I guess someone forgot her harmonica..wth?
-Wanted to watch Beck, saw Chris Martin too so I ran
-Jesse J & Tom Jones > Lady GaGa & Tony Bennett but this trend needs to die
-Katy Perry stole Lupita Nyong’o 2014 Oscar dress and Fred Astaire’s shadow dancers. I miss the shark!
-Kristen Wiig seems really talented, someone should hire her for a Ghostbusters movie
-Common and John Legend seem to have a nice tune, I will probably hear it again at the Oscars, right?
-Wait, is that ELO? What’s up with ELO? ELO??
-I can’t see Ed Sheeran without thinking Harry Potter but I like him better than Sam Smith
-AC/DC was pretty good but impossible to find a video since YouTube is full of weird reviews from bedrooms or fake news studios. Ugh.
-Best crowd shots are of Taylor Swift who seems to really enjoy every performance. Worst crowd shot is of Nicole Kidman who I knew couldn’t move her face but also can’t move her body.
-I don’t get Madonna’s performance but she sure is quite the performer. Also, I can’t see a minotaur without thinking American Horror Story..ick.

I give up. Now onto Austin City Limits and The Foo Fighters.

 

Toe Stubbing

And the winner for lifetime achievement in toe stubbing goes to ME!! According to the presentation, my knack for drawing blood and purple toe nails is what set me apart from others. I plan on accepting the award once my big toe stops bleeding which could be days away.

First Avenue

Some10968352_10205606841191336_4336862130749533155_n things about First Avenue never change. The best part about a 20-1 guy-girl ratio at a concert is no bathroom lines and there is still some dry towel left at the end of the night.
