September Gurls
The annual listening loop of Big Star’s “September Gurls” has begun. Soon it will be followed by their entire catalog with a bunch of extra “Thirteen” plays for good measure. And if history repeats itself this will lead to some Box Tops and eventually settling into a Kinks/T.Rex marathon with repeat plays of The Undertones’ “Teenage Kicks” for fun. Finally, I will snap out of it with the help of Rancid and The Clash. Every September.
